Hidden geometry is inferred

One image cannot reveal the rear face, internal construction or exact depth. PhotoTo3D mirrors visible evidence when that is reasonable and marks uncertain regions in the spec.

For a production hero asset, provide front, side and rear views with consistent focal length and lighting.

Characters are stylized

The method is strongest for hard-surface props and product-like objects. Human reconstruction from one image is a stylized likeness, not an identity-accurate scan.

Procedural has a purpose

Dense organic scans, cloth folds and photoreal faces are usually better served by mesh or neural reconstruction. Use PhotoTo3D when editability, low runtime weight and action-ready structure matter.
